Operations & Administration Manager
Photocentric Group is an award-winning manufacturer with operations in the UK and Avondale, Phoenix, AZ. We are innovators in 3D printing technology, resin development, and global leaders in craft stamp manufacturing. We now have an opening for a commercially minded Operations & Administration Manager to join our small manufacturing site in Avondale.
Working closely with the onsite Production Manager and our UK leadership team, you will coordinate the day-to-day operations of our US business. You will be the central point of contact across Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, Shipping, Finance and HR, ensuring our office, customer service and operational processes run efficiently.
This Operations & Administration Manager is a broad, hands-on role that spans multiple business functions and would suit someone who is organised, systems-driven and enjoys solving problems while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration and operational activities of the business.
- Manage and develop the Customer Service function while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Coordinate purchasing, inventory and production support activities.
- Oversee HR administration, recruitment, onboarding and employee support.
- Support staff planning and production scheduling.
- Maintain business systems, operational records and reporting.
- Coordinate facilities management, workplace safety and OSHA compliance.
- Support process improvements to drive operational efficiency and business growth.
- Work collaboratively with both the US and UK teams to ensure business objectives are achieved.
About You:
- Experience in an operations, office management or business administration role.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience working in a small or medium-sized business is preferred.
- Experience supporting HR administration and employee relations.
- Highly organised with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite experience would be an advantage).
- Knowledge of production planning or scheduling would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and workplace safety practices is desirable.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the business.
